Old Richmond Grange member, Eileen, has donated this wonderful little greenhouse to our community garden. Members gathered in her backyard for the dismantling, the transfer, and ultimately the re-installation next to our raised beds. Wondering what great seedlings we can start in this little hut!

Our 3rd Annual Old Richmond Grange booth at Bethania’s Black Walnut Festival in mid-September was once again a success, with many attendants enjoying a sunny afternoon, drawing with our own special black walnut ink made from walnuts found in the backyard. When finished, the drawings were hung in our special BWF Clothesline Gallery. We enjoyed the fellowship of old friends and new acquaintances, as well as shopped the many creative booths of the festival.

Our Yard Sale last month was a success! We emptied our closets, found new homes for lots of useful things, made a little money, and a few new friends along the way.
For snacks, we baked cornbread sticks with slices of jalapeno, fresh from our new Grange garden.
